In determining which subscription to sign up for, decide which type of
device you want to use to access Spice and which search features are important to you.
1.
Spice Mobile An application for mobile devices (phones and tablets). Search keywords,
view phrases and interact with each phrase’s history. Copy phrases to paste into text messages or
emails or share phrases directly to other apps like Twitter and Facebook. Access full phrase history,
including the five oldest sources along with interactive timelines and cumulative usage graphs.
On tablets, explore Spice deeper with Grab Bag, an expansive tool that collects a broad range of
associated phrases and keywords for more extensive searching.
2.
Spice Mobile + Ads(Coming Soon!) Enjoy the same functionality as Spice Mobile but with advertisements included at a discounted price.
3. Spice Professional An application for use on a computer. Spice Professional offers the most extensive thesaurus experience. Search for keywords directly, view phrases and interact with full phrase history, including the five oldest sources along with interactive timelines and cumulative usage graphs. Insert phrases, graphs and timelines directly into Word documents with automatic footnoting (for phrases) in MLA, APA, or Chicago style citations. View source statistics, filter search results, and expand your search using our Harvester and Grab Bag features.

To subscribe to Spice Mobile on an iOS device, first download the Spice Mobile app from the
Apple App Store. Open the app and tap “subscribe”. Select your desired subscription plan. You will then have the option to create an account (if you have not set up a
free account through the website already) or sign in with your username and password (if you already have an account created). You will then be required to confirm your purchase with your Apple ID. To search the phrase thesaurus, simply enter any one word (must be one word) and search.
Please note that to access your subscription on multiple devices, you are required to have a Writer’s Muse account. If you subscribe through Apple, automatic subscription renewals are not available, so you will need to manually renew at the end of each subscription term.
To subscribe to Spice Mobile on an android device, you first must create an account either through our website
here or from within the Spice Mobile app.
Please note that the username and password created for your account will be your login information for your Spice Mobile subscription. If you created your account through our website, download the Spice Mobile app to your device from either the
Google Play Store or the
Amazon App Store.
Next, launch the app, tap “Subscribe” underneath “New Customers,” and tap the desired subscription from the available options. You are then redirected to the "Create Account" screen. On this screen,
you need to create an account (if you have not set up a free account through the website already) or sign in with your username and password (if you already have an account created) regarding linking your account to Spice subscription. Once the
account is created, a Google Play popup is displayed regarding the payment process. Make the payment to subscribe to Spice. To search the phrase thesaurus, simply enter any one word (must be one word) and search.
To access Spice on additional devices, you must have an account with The Writer's Muse and you must be signed in to your original device.There are two ways to access additional devices:
1. Download the app from your mobile app Store. On the welcome screen, enter your account username and password and tap “Enter.” You must be signed into your account on the original device for this method to work.
2. If you have iCloud support on all of your devices, the app will automatically set up access to your subscription for your additional devices. Simply download and launch the Spice Mobile app.
In the app, click “Account” on the bottom bar. If you are already signed in, your account details will be displayed. If you are not signed in, enter the username and password for your Writer's Muse account and tap “Enter.”
If you do not have an account, you can create an account from this page as well(For iOS devices only).
If your device has been accidentally blocked, please contact us at support@writersmuse.com. Alternatively, you can wait 24 hours and your account will be active again. After 24 hours, you will need to either click “Account” on the Welcome Screen or re-start the app from a hard close.
If you subscribed through Paypal, log in to your PayPal account and go to “Settings” near the top of the page. Next, select “Payments” and then “Manage automatic payments.” Select the merchant from the list and then select “Cancel subscription” and finish the cancellation steps.
If you subscribed through the Google Play Store, open the Google Play Store on your android device. Tap the Menu icon, and then tap “Subscriptions.” Select the Spice Mobile subscription that you want to cancel and tap “Cancel subscription.” Follow the remaining instructions to confirm cancellation.
If you subscribed through the Apple App Store, your subscription will not automatically renew and must be renewed manually.
If you subscribed directly through the website, your subscription will be set to automatically renew even if using an Apple iOS device.
Your subscription can be accessed on up to three(3) similar devices. If you are subscribed to Spice Mobile, you can set up your account on a combination of phone and tablet devices supported by Android or iOS. If you are subscribed to Spice Professional, you can access Spice on any
six Windows or Mac computers and/or any six mobile devices. (Spice Professional grants Spice Mobile access, as well.)
You have two options:
1. In the app, log in and tap “Account.” At the bottom of the screen, tap “Remove device.”
An email will be sent to you confirming the removal.
2. On the website under “Manage Subscriptions” on your main Account page,
find the appropriate subscription that your device is associated with (Spice Mobile, Spice Professional, etc). Each device is named on the Remove button.
For example, if you want to remove your iPhone, select “Remove iPhone;” if you want to remove your PC, select “Remove PC.”
An email will be sent to you confirming the removal.
We cannot automatically restore a device after it is removed. To resolve, simply launch Spice on your device and enter your account username and password to re-activate the device.
If Apple indicates that you have already purchased a subscription, your subscription may have expired. If so, you need to go ahead with the purchase to renew your access to Spice. If your subscription has not expired, you can select to add a device at any time by entering your account username and password on the Welcome Screen.

which will direct you to our downloads page. Select the Mac version of Spice Professional. It will direct you to the
Download Mac page. You can find the details of the application and download the file. Select ‘Download’ to download the setup file.
After downloading the program, launch it from your machine, enter your account username and password, and press “Enter”.

To access Spice on additional devices you must have an account with The Writer's

Downloads page to your additional device.

Open Spice Professional on your machine, select “Account” tab present in the window. If you are already signed in, your account details will be
displayed. If you are not signed in, a popup window “Product Activation” will be shown. Enter the username and password for
your Writer's Muse account and select “Enter”.
