How do I get the Spice software?

Download the corresponding software to your subscription level here. You can download the mobile applications from your provider's app store.

How much does the Spice software cost?

All downloads are free. For your software application to work, you must sign up for a subscription service. Prices vary per product. Go to our Products page for current prices.

I just bought a new phone. Can I move my subscription to a different device?

To move a subscription, you must first remove the device currently associated with that subscription. You can do this in one of two ways:

Go to Manage Subscriptions under your Account. Select the “Remove Device” button under the corresponding subscription.
In your app, go to your account. Select the “Remove Device” button at the bottom of the page. This will immediately remove the device's access to your subscription.

After you have removed the device, you will be sent a confirmation email. Download the app to your new phone and enter your Writer's Muse account information.

Is there an app with ads available for a discounted rate?

An ad-supported version of Spice Mobile will be available soon.

What are the system requirements for Spice Mobile?

For the iOS app, you will need:

iPhone (any model), iPod Touch (3rd generation or higher), or iPad (any model), running iOS 5 or higher.

For the Android Phone App, you will need:

An Android phone or tablet, running Android 2.3 or higher.

What are the system requirements for Spice Professional?

For the Mac version to run Spice Professional, you will need:
iOS X v10.7 (Lion) or later.

To access the Microsoft Word integration feature in Mac, you will need:
Microsoft Word 2008 or later.

For the PC version to run Spice Professional, you will need:
Windows XP Service Pack3 or later.

To access the Microsoft Word integration feature in PC, you will need:
